About the role

Filings and reconciliation is the heart of the platform. It's where the customer's CFO confirms our numbers, where CBP looks first during an audit, and where every customer expansion conversation starts. This PM owns it end-to-end.

You will be the senior PM on a team of one (you), partnering with a tech lead, a designer, and a small pod of engineers.

What you'll do

  • Own the roadmap for entry filings (weekly 7501 and monthly recap), CF-28 response workflows, and ERP-to-FTZ reconciliation.
  • Run weekly customer councils with 6–8 named operators. The roadmap reflects what they actually see in the wild.
  • Write specs that compliance and engineering can both build against. You are the translator between regulatory language and product behavior.
  • Drive deprecation of legacy customer integrations (we still talk to a few green-screen ERPs). Knowing what to kill is half the job.
  • Partner with our Trade Policy team so the product responds to USTR and OFAC changes within days, not quarters.
  • Act as executive sponsor on 2–3 strategic accounts. Quarterly reviews, escalation, expansion conversations.

What you bring

  • 6+ years of B2B SaaS product management. At least 2 of those in a regulated or compliance-heavy domain (fintech, healthtech, customs, trade).
  • Comfort going deep on detail. Filings is not a vibes surface. Edge cases are the work.
  • Strong written communication. Your specs become the contract between teams.
  • A bias toward shipping. We measure PMs on how often customers notice a change, not on roadmap polish.
  • Track record of working closely with engineers AND with non-technical operators. Both will be your daily peers.

Bonus

  • Background in international trade, customs, or supply chain software.
  • Direct experience with ACE Portal or any EDI-based regulatory filing system.
  • You have shipped product that moves money and held the bag when it broke.
  • You enjoy reading 19 CFR. Saying this out loud is generally a tell.

How we hire

Five conversations, all with people you'd actually work with. (1) Recruiter intro, 30 minutes. (2) Hiring manager (VP Product), 60 minutes. (3) Product exercise: we send you an anonymized real customer reconciliation issue and 90 minutes to draft a PRD, then discuss it with two engineers and our VP Compliance. (4) Cross-functional panel, 90 minutes. (5) Founder conversation, 45 minutes.

From first conversation to offer: typically 3 weeks. We do not run multi-month gauntlets.
